Proposal of Securities Board to issue broker license to all eligible companies
Niraj Giri, chief executive director of the Nepal Securities Board (NSB) and chief of CAMU, said that the board has now proposed to the finance ministry to issue broker licenses to all eligible companies without limiting the number of brokers.
Speaking to the representatives of the agitating Capital Market Reform Struggle Committee on Tuesday demanding 16 points from the share market, Giri said, We have sent it to the Ministry of Finance and now the regulations will be implemented as soon as they are passed by the Ministry. ”
Giri further said, “We are proposing to issue broker licenses to all companies that meet the criteria for not counting the number, whether they are subsidiaries of the bank or other companies.”
